Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum on Senapati Bapat road is dedicated to great freedom fighter Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar who then wrote Indian Constitution. Museum houses rich collection of items which contains items from birth to death of Dr. Ambedkar.
Items kept in museums are. A silver ink-bottle, presented to Babasaheb by the then Governor General of India, Lord Mount Batten,A night lamp and a paperweight carved with Babasaheb's name,A wall clock,Babasaheb's Violin,His footwear and clothes, including the fur cap he wore in the 4th conference on Buddhism held in Nepal,Babasaheb Ambedkar’s travel accessories and gardening scissor, bed on which he took his last breath and also Bharatratna awrded to him by K.R. Venkatraman is also here.
