Katraj Snake Park was Set up in the year 1986 by Mr. Neelam Kumar Khaire. It was later incorporated in the Rajeev Gandhi Udyan in 1999. Rajiv Gandhi Snake Park and Zoo is located at Katraj on Pune-Satara road.This snake park is home to a number of snakes and other reptiles like crocodiles. One can see Snakes of diferent shapes and sizes in the park. Information about snakes with pictures is displayed in a library within the park.

Zoo is added recently in Rajiv Gandhi Park which attracts children mostly. Rajiv Gandhi Park is maintained by Pune Municipal Corporation.It is situated on the Pune-Satara Highway near Bharati Vidyapeeth Campus. The straight road emanating from Swargate reaches you to the desired destination.

Entry Fee for Adults is Rs. 3 and that for Children is Rs. 2. It remains open from 10:30 to 5:30, and remains closed on every Wednesday.
